EL classroom

The $300 grant went a long way. It paid for 24 new games that have been played and will continue to be played long after I have retired.

These games were purchased at Fox Den, a local business here in River Falls. I was happy to support them. Their staff is so friendly and helpful. These games not only help build vocabulary, but enhance social/emotional learning skills that ALL students could use help with. They also build confidence, which was very apparent in my EL classroom. The pictures I am sharing are of freshman Jeiss Guaman and myself playing a couple of our favorites.

Now that I am retiring, all the games will be located in the EL classroom at the High School and are available for check out for any EL teacher and building in our district. Thank you again for your generosity.
